Quick as a sentence
Move your mouse to the top of the screen, then say or type the note. No app to open, no title to think of. Taby saves it and gets out of your way.
Notes
Say “make a note…”. Later, ask “find that note about…” and Taby finds it. Your notes stay on your own computer. Free, on Mac and Windows.

The short answer
Notes are easy to write and hard to find. With Taby you just ask: it saves a note from one sentence, and later finds it by what it was about, not the exact words. Its AI runs on your own computer, works offline and needs no account.
Say it, it’s done
“Make a note: the plumber comes Thursday”
Saves it. No title, no folder, nothing to fill in.
“Find that note about the plumber”
Finds it, even if you don’t remember the exact words.
“What did I write about the dentist?”
Finds the note, reads it and tells you.
“Add butter to my shopping note”
Shows exactly what changes, and saves it when you say OK.
“Note: gift idea for Anna, the blue scarf”
Saves it, so “what was that gift idea?” finds it later.
How notes work
Move your mouse to the top of the screen, then say or type the note. No app to open, no title to think of. Taby saves it and gets out of your way.
Can’t remember the word? Taby finds it anyway. It searches your notes, tasks and reminders by what they’re about, so “the dentist thing” finds the note about your cleaning.
Ask “what did I write about the plumber?” and Taby reads the note and answers, so you get the part you need without scrolling.
Ask Taby to add to a note or change it, and it shows exactly what changes before it saves. Nothing gets rewritten behind your back.
Your notes are stored on your own computer, and Taby’s local AI and search run there too. It works offline, needs no account, and nothing you write is used to train models.
Taby’s local AI needs 8 GB of memory or more (a graphics card on Windows). If your computer can’t run it, Taby Cloud does that part instead, under Zero Data Retention.
